RUST-OLEUM® Alkythane 7500 series coatings are based on a urethane modified alkyd, providing good drying properties at low temperatures. The coatings are lead- and chromate-free and contains rust-inhibitive pigments (except for 7510 clear) for additional protection.
Recommended Uses:
Should be applied on metal surfaces primed with RUSTOLEUM Alkyd primers.
Intended for brush and roller application and can also be applied by spray.
On properly primed or previously coated surfaces RUST-OLEUM Alkythane 7500 offers corrosion protection in a light industrial environment.
For metal structures in a more aggressive industrial environment, application of an additional RUST-OLEUM Alkyd primer or Alkythane 7500 finish is recommended.
